“We established the farm in 1998 and have faced some considerable challenges – we were not prepared to let a global pandemic define us,” says co-director Nick Femia.

With support throughout the pandemic, SA Mushrooms has continued to remain the primary, privately-owned, grower and supplier of mushrooms in South Australia.

“In just 6-months we opened our second growing facility increasing our production by 150%,” Nick says.

“We feel extremely humbled that we have been given the opportunity to provide more people with work throughout COVID-19.”

You can find their fresh, flavoursome mushrooms across the state in selected Foodland supermarkets, greengrocers and IGAs.
