Stunning new couture + love + madness collection features in Vogue

One of South Australia’s most-beloved fashion labels has unveiled their latest collection.

With large-scale events put on hold for the time being, many industries are getting creative and turning to the realm of technology to host their events.

The fashion world is no exception.

Cult South Australian fashion label, Couture + Love + Madness is set to follow in the footsteps of designers like Chanel and Christian Dior by unveiling its latest collection via a virtual runway show. It’s so stunning, it’s even caught the attention of Vogue Australia.

Set in the historic grounds of the former Glenside Hospital’s Z Ward, the show will showcase the brand’s new SS 20-21 collection, La MariĆØĆ©.

The collection explores the different ‘types’ of brides, whether that be the modern bride, romantic bride, or classical bride.

Through the showcase, Couture + Love + Madness take viewers on a journey through the ages with everything from whimsical ballgowns to short and playful silhouettes, appealing to all kinds of different personalities.

The team for the launch and runway, includes Adelaide Fashion Festival favourites Meaghan Coles Photography, Studio Botanic event design, Mia Gambranis Creative Director, choreography by Brigette Mitchell and models by Finesse Models Australia; the agency that discovered talents including Lily Nova and Akiima. Hair and makeup will be done by the team from M&Co Style Bar, styling by the designer herself, Cristina Tridente and stylist Emma Riemersma with videography by Dylan Starczak.

The runway has been pre-recorded and has now been released through social media and the CLM website.

It’s also caught the eye of the stylish folks over at Vogue Australia, with Cristina’s new collection featuring on their website, in an article titled “These are the wedding dress trends for 2020, according to a leading bridal designer”. The breathtaking images feature alongside an interview with Tridente, which focuses on the shift in style over the lockdown period. (Read the full interview here).
