NATIONAL PHARMACIES CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
The National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant is a magical, free community event, full of fantasy, floats, colourful characters, bands, dancers and more, shared by generations of Australians.
The Pageant began in 1933 and is one of the largest, free community parades in the world. Today it includes 174 moving theatrical sets including 270 certified clowns and elves, 65 floats, 18 bands, 4 Penny Farthings, 33 dance groups, 5 choirs and a live DJ/rapper.
National Pharmacies is the title sponsor of the Christmas Pageant, and a proud South Australian organisation. Since opening its first dispensary in Adelaide in 1911, National Pharmacies has expanded to 51 pharmacies across South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, and 20 Optical Stores in South Australia and is proud to partner with the event to continue captivating generations of Australian children.
