After a stellar 2019, including two wins at The Australian Gin Awards and three at The World Gin Awards, Never Never Distilling Co. has decided to take the plunge in 2020 by opening a new distillery in the rolling fields of McLaren Vale.
Never Never Co’s new distillery will launch as part of the Chalk Hill Collective, a collaborative offering which promises to add another impressive chapter to McLaren Vale’s ever-expanding hospitality offerings.
On Saturday, February 15th, Never Never Co. will unveil the new distillery to the public featuring new gins, appetisers and sweeping views of McLaren Vale.
Starting from humble beginnings in a small shed in Thebarton, Never Never Co. has grown to a globally renowned brand known for its inventive gins, signature cocktails and SA-made great taste.
After being awarded the World’s Best Classic Gin at the 2019 World Gin Awards, Never Never Co’s ascent to greatness has kept on growing. Their new home in McLaren Vale will seek to change the face of the area’s hospitality sector.
“McLaren Vale has always been a dream for Never Never, so much that we put its iconic landscape on our label right back when we were distilling in the back of a shed in Royal Park,” says George Georgiadis, Managing Director of Never Never Distilling Co.
“When we first met the Chalk Hill team, we knew there would be an opportunity to create an incredible site where you can enjoy a gin, wine and delicious meal while looking out over the Mt. Lofty Ranges.”
Never Never Distillery will open its doors to the public on February 15, 2020. It is located at Chalk Hill Collective, 65 Field Street, McLaren Vale.
The distillery will be open 6 days a week from 11am-6pm (closed Tuesdays). For more information, visit their website.
