Ikigai towers above town in a realm of its own

Ikigai is situated on the 18th floor of Realm Adelaide. We’re still not sure if it’s actually heaven or just high up enough to be mistaken for it.

As a swanky apartment complex in the CBD, Ikigai stands out among a long list of pristine experiences… It’s a luxury locale that shimmers with the glistening, glossy decor of success. It’s the sort of apartment that you could envision a wealthy Wall Street worker in New York City retiring to at the end of a long day.

You can make use of the chrome-covered kitchen amenities, beautiful linens, crystal glasses, extra-large digital television or the coffee maker, along with all of the bells and whistles that this building boasts.

A pool, a spa, a gym and a games room await, but like the stunning eyes of a first crush, the flickering lights across the Austin Street view are alluring and hypnotic. The owner, taking all of the precautions to preserve the immaculate AirBnB experience, is open to guests reaching out for breakfast options, cheese, wine and guided tours.

The shared pool ripples with light across sunrise and crashes with waves across the skies at sundown.

Although no kids or pets are allowed, that’s kind of the cherry on top for this once-in-a-skyline experience that’s made for romance, relaxation and recouperation. A king bed or two king single beds are available, but the hosts take all precautions to make sure it doesn’t feel like there’s a gap if the singles are joined together.

Oh, and in case you were wondering…”Ikigai” is a general concept in Japan that means “benefit,” “alive,” and “reason for being.”

Can’t argue with that.
