Marys Poppin is taking its party out of the East End and into the Adelaide Hills, launching a brand new event at Sidewood Estate next summer.
Poppin Corks will take over the winery on Saturday, February 27, bringing a huge lineup of drag performers and DJs together for an afternoon of dancing, food and drinks among the vines.
Running from 1pm to 8pm, the event will feature drag performances throughout the day, with DJs playing from lunchtime through to sunset.
Guests can hit the dance floor, find a spot undercover or settle in with friends across the Sidewood Estate grounds as the Marys Poppin crew brings its signature atmosphere to the Hills.
The massive lineup includes Alison Xpress, Berri Juicy, Boystress, Brooke Seto, Cleo Taurus, Ellie Delight, Estelle, Eve Elle, Glitzy Von Jagger, Jules Harlow, Kane Enable, Luci Furr, Mihz, Minty Hydrangea, Miss Jackson, Tritri, Venti and Xai.
Poppin Corks follows other events that have taken Marys Poppin beyond its popular East End nightclub, including Poppin Out.
Marys Poppin owner and Poppin Corks founder Stephen Craddock said the new event was about recreating the community and atmosphere of Marys in a completely different setting.
“Marys has always been about the people who walk through our doors and the performers who make them feel at home,” Stephen said.
“Poppin Corks lets us bring that feeling out into the sunshine, with a glass of wine in hand and the whole afternoon ahead of us.”
Those looking to make a bigger day of it can opt for the limited VIP experience, which includes access to private indoor and outdoor areas, cabanas, a dedicated bar and private bathroom.
And there’s no need to organise a designated driver, with buses set to run between Adelaide and Sidewood Estate for the event.
