Adelaide Youth Orchestra launched their 2014 Maestro Series on Sunday 30 March, filling Elder Hall with the symphonic sounds of what promises to be a wonderful season. Conducted by Keith Crellin and with a solo performance by Tianyou Ma, AdYO’s first Maestro series for 2014 included three diverse works, including Dvořák’s much loved American symphony From the New World.
The 80-piece Adelaide Youth Orchestra will launch its 2014 Maestro Series in grand style at Elder Hall on Sunday March 30 withMaestro Series 1: New World Order, a very special concert featuring three stunning and diverse works, including Dvořák’s much loved American symphony, Symphony No 9 From the New World.
Ten operas, including four new productions will feature in The Metropolitan Opera’s award-winning series of opera in cinema. The new season kicks off on 26 October but tickets are on sale now.
