With so many locals doing it tough financially with the COVID-19 crisis, a local Royston park business has started a pay it forward campaign so they can give back to those in need.
Award-winning café, The Lab Food + Coffee has launched a pay it forward initiative so that they can provide free meals to frontline workers who likely don’t have the time to prepare themselves a fresh meal and the locals doing it tough during this time.

The Payneham Road business is encouraging its customers to help make a difference in the lives of those who have lost their jobs and more in these tough times by paying it forward and donating an assortment of meals and beverages.
The Lab will then match that donation so that an extra meal or beverage can be provided to members of the local community doing it tough.
The meals that are donated will then be added to a special tab so that locals and frontline workers who are struggling with our current circumstances can visit The Lab or call them up and ask for something off of the pay it forward tab.
“Our motto is, ‘if everyone helps each other we’ll all get through this’,” says The Lab’s owner, Nadia Makovek.
Those who are interested in paying it forward can donate an assortment of burgers, toasted sandwiches, fresh bagels and more via The Lab Food + Coffee’s website.
The Lab Food + Coffee can be found at 313 Payneham Rd, Adelaide.
