23rd Street Distillery celebrates 10 years with huge Riverland weekend

Renmark’s 23rd Street Distillery is celebrating its 10th anniversary with rare tastings, live music, special experiences and a limited-edition gin.

One of South Australia’s most recognisable distilleries is marking a decade in the Riverland with a huge weekend of rare tastings, live music and special experiences.

23rd Street Distillery will open its historic Renmark home to the public on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, celebrating 10 years since the distillery first opened its doors in 2016.

The anniversary weekend will give guests the chance to revisit discontinued releases from the distillery’s archives, meet the artists behind its distinctive bottle labels and sample a menu inspired by favourites from the past decade.

Visitors will also be able to garnish their own gin and tonic using fresh Riverland fruit from the distillery’s garnish garden, with live music adding to the atmosphere throughout the weekend.

A limited-edition 23rd Street Signature Gin has also been created for the milestone. Featuring an exclusive anniversary label, just 200 bottles will be available from the distillery door.

“Ten years is an incredible milestone for 23rd Street Distillery,” the distillery says.

“This weekend is really about celebrating with everyone who has supported us and been part of the journey.”

Since launching in 2016, 23rd Street Distillery has grown into a nationally recognised spirits brand while remaining closely connected to its Riverland beginnings.

Its home occupies a Renmark property with more than a century of history, now combining a working distillery with food, tastings and visitor experiences.

The public festivities will run from 9am to 4pm on Saturday and from 9am to 5pm on Sunday. An invitation-only anniversary event will follow Saturday’s daytime celebrations, bringing together friends, supporters and people who have contributed to the distillery’s journey.
