Wine and Greece lovers get ready for the best two nights of your life as George’s on Waymouth and Wines of Greece team up to bring two mouthwatering producers dinners!

When we think wine we might think Italy or France, but wine has been a part of the Greek diet and lifestyle since before Zeus!

Most of the grapes grown in Greece are indigenous with more than 300 varieties! The geography of Greece also means that there are a number of small vineyards producing very high-quality wine. Of course, how about we leave the rest of the technical talk to wine educators Yiannis Karakasis MW and Grigoris Michailos, who together with 19 visiting wine producers will host 2 dinners at George’s as a feast and (delicious) learning experience.

Jon Kimber, Head Chef at George’s on Waymouth, has designed a five-course menu to compliment the Wines of Greece where 10 wines will be shown throughout each dinner.

Tuesday 19th June will have a focus on white varietals with a splash of red wine.

Wednesday 20th June will focus on red varietals with a splash of white.
