Love rock n’ roll? There’s a group of talented kids that do, and their bringing their new show to Fringe this year!
Star Academy is excited to present their 2019 Fringe premiere of “Tribute to Rock”. The season kicks off tonight (to a sold out shot) and continues every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until March 3rd.
‘Tribute to Rock’ is an interactive children’s show where the kids get to be a rock star, and mum and dad can enjoy classic hits from ACDC, Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Who, INXS and more.
Tribute to Rock is a kid’s show starring kids and created for kids! The cast of mini rock stars (Ages 7-18) will have you singing, dancing and air guitaring the night away. This high energy hour of non-stop rock, dancing, singing and a hilarious storyline will have the whole family on the edge of their seats.
“Tribute to Rock” stars 12 year olds, Cartia Lanzoni and Brooke Paul, playing Audrey the teacher’s pet and Rory the class rebel. This mismatched pair clash over music genres when new kid Rory introduces rock music to their classical ballet and music academy.
Classic rock music powers the show with live singing and dancing. These kids are absolute professionals going from power ballads, to high-octane hip hop dances to flawless classical ballet routines. Audiences of all ages will be inspired to live out their Rock star dreams with classic songs parents will love!
And of course no rock show would be complete with out a little bit of glam. Stunning costumes full of sequins and sparkles add some wow factor.
Star Academy is the perfect intimate venue for this interactive show bringing the audience in on the action with lots of opportunities to sing and dance along. Located in the Adelaide CBD, right across from the Adelaide central markets, Star Academy is family friendly and has easy access and parking.
