Adelaide Model, Adut Akech Features On September Cover Of British Vogue

Adelaide model, Adut Akech has appeared on the cover of the September Edition of British Vogue, after being personally selected by the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

At only 19, Adelaide model, Adut Akech has been featured on the cover of British Vogue’s September Edition.

Adut was personally asked to be involved by the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle who was the guest editor for the edition.

The theme of the issue was, ‘Forces of Change’, which encapsulates Markle’s wish for change and diversity. HRH personally selected a range of 15 women to empower this idea.

The Duchess told Adut that she finds her and her story inspiring.

An awesome initiative for such an empowering topic, HRH was glowing after the experience calling it “educating and inspiring”.

Adut is one of several featured in the article, alongside Laverne Cox, Jane Fonda and Salma Hayek, to name a few. She was even personally interviewed by the former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama.

To add to the list of Adut’s mind-blowing achievements, she attended this years prestigious Met Gala, was on the cover of Vogue Japan and has walked in several high fashion shows for brands including Fendi, Valentino, Chanel, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander Wang and more.

Adut emigrated from Kenya to Adelaide and quickly rose to influencer status, with a following 477k on her instagram.
