As if we needed an excuse to celebrate amazing South Australian wines. The results of the Barossa Valley Show are in.
The Barossa Wine Show is held annually in September since the first show in 1977, and is seen as a showpiece of the region’s very best wine.
Entry is open to members of the Barossa Grape & Wine Association and to qualify wines must be made in Barossa from a minimum of 85% Barossa grapes. The judging panel includes winemakers, wine media and professional judges from around Australia and overseas.
Hundreds of wines are entered in over 25 different classes and judged over three days, with Trophies and Awards presented at a gala dinner.
