One-day mini wine festival Feast & Forage is back and just around the corner.
The much-loved day of friends, family, wine, food trucks, and music returns to the Barossa Valley to soak up the last of the season’s warmth. The event will take place on Saturday, March 27th from 11am – 4pm.
Lay your picnic rug down and flip out the folding chairs on the green grass of the cellar door garden, where you’ll be looking out at the beautiful Thorn-Clarke vineyards.
The best part? There’s free entry for the whole crew.
Since it’s hosted by Thorn-Clarke Wines, wine will be flowing all day as you eat lunch and enjoy vineyard views.
Lunch options will come from an array of food trucks on-site. Eat delicious paella––including a vegan paella––from Paellas South Australia, seafood––including gluten free options––from Squid Eat, or ice cream by the Barossa Valley Ice Cream Company. You can also get local coffee from Bert’s Barista Craft coffee truck.
In addition to food and drinks, there will also be entertainment provided. Band Two For One will be playing live, and there will be outdoor activities throughout the day.
The event is great for kids, with lots of space to run around, ample soft drinks and juice, and outdoor entertainment.
“It’s a nice a relaxed event where adults can enjoy wine and listen to the music while the kids play,” Brooke Bauer, Thorn-Clarke Wines’ Digital & Direct Sales Manager, says. “It’s a great opportunity to get out and about and for families to experience our cellar door.”
Based on previous years, the winery expects around 300 people to attend, so make sure to register for your free ticket while they’re still available.
There’s parking on site, and carpooling is encouraged.
