Australian celebrity stylist Donny Galella is heading to Adelaide for the first time, bringing more than two decades of fashion know-how to KOOMO as part of Adelaide Fashion Week.
From styling Hollywood stars to dressing some of Australia’s biggest names, Donny Galella has racked up plenty of career highlights over his 17 years in fashion. He has worked across some of the world’s biggest red carpets, including the Cannes Film Festival, Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmys, while also styling Australian events including the Logies, ARIAs, Brownlow and Dally M Awards.
Along the way, he has worked with names including Drew Barrymore, LeAnn Rimes and Sophia Loren, shared the stage with fellow makeover experts including Gok Wan, Carson Kressley and Trinny and Susannah, and appears regularly across Australian television. He has also completed more than 2,000 makeovers, building a career around his belief that style should make people feel confident rather than intimidated.
Donny will make his Adelaide masterclass debut at the stunning East End venue for an afternoon dedicated to fashion, confidence and self-expression.
Instead of telling guests what they should be wearing, The Style Masterclass is about helping people understand what works for them. This will include everything from finding the right fit and proportions to building a wardrobe around their lifestyle.
Donny will bring his styling philosophy to life as he styles models throughout the afternoon, demonstrating how fit, proportion, layering and the right pieces can transform a look, with practical tips you can apply to your own wardrobe.
