Murray Bridges’ new food offering is a win for Vietnamese lovers wanting a fresh and fast meal without feeling too heavy.

There’s not much better than smelling a freshly toasted Vietnamese roll, crackling pork or noodles sizzling inside a hot wok.

Soon, Murray Bridge locals will be able to get all this and more, with Bami Vietnamese opening at Murray Bridge Marketplace this September.

With more than 28 stores across South Australia, the name isn’t unfamiliar to many, but for those in the Murraylands, the offering isn’t as accessible, which is exactly why the Vietnamese hotspot is coming to the region.

It marks one of the brand’s more rural ventures, and for the owner, the decision to head across to Murray Bridge isn’t simply about finding another place to put a Bami sign.

“That’s certainly a very practical reason right now, with the economy struggling and so many restaurants opening up constantly,” the owner told Glam Adelaide.

“But that’s not the main reason I decided to invest in Murray Bridge.”

“The biggest reason is that I believe Murray Bridge is a very promising area and I also want to provide the people here with more quality options for Vietnamese food.”

And quality Vietnamese food doesn’t mean locals will have to trade speed for flavour.

Bami’s whole offering is built around fresh, made-to-order dishes, from its much-loved Bami Rolls to wok-tossed noodles, rice dishes, noodle salads and warming bowls of pho.

At Murray Bridge, expect some of the familiar favourites to make the trip too.

“We will still bring our strengths to Murray Bridge shop; we are known for our honey chicken, kway teow etc… and specially bami roll.”

For those who may not have had the chance to get their hands on the crunchy, soft golden rolls, it’s the perfect place to start when looking at the menu.

Think crunchy carrot strips with cucumber, and coriander with sauce covering your choice of meat, that will make you second guess why you’ve went os long without it.

Or go straight for the wok with the kway teow, a generous serving of flat rice noodles tossed with vegetables, egg and your choice of protein.

But there’s a little more cooking behind the scenes for Murray Bridge.

“With the shop located in a rural area, I’m sure I’ll be bringing you many new items never before seen in our system, along with the best experiences in the region,” the owner said.

So while we don’t know exactly what those new dishes will look like just yet, we do know Murray Bridge is about to have another reason to skip the sushi or burger and grab something fresh from the wok instead.
