Da Klinic is bringing a massive Go Skateboarding Day celebration to the Myer Centre with free skate comps, giveaways and pizza

Adelaide’s skateboarding community will come together this Saturday as Da Klinic hosts a free Go Skateboarding Day celebration at Myer Centre Adelaide, complete with competitions, giveaways, free food and ramp skating.

Adelaide’s skateboarding community is set to come together this Saturday, with Da Klinic hosting one of South Australia’s biggest Go Skateboarding Day celebrations at Myer Centre Adelaide.

Taking place on Saturday 20 June, the free event will transform Level 2 of the Myer Centre into a skateboarding hub, with competitions, exhibitions, giveaways, free food and community activities running from 2pm to 5pm.

Open to skateboarders and spectators of all ages, the event follows the success of last year’s celebration, with Da Klinic taking things up a notch for 2026.

Go Skateboarding Day is an internationally recognised annual celebration of skateboarding culture, bringing skaters together around the world to connect with their local communities and share their love of the sport.

This year’s Adelaide event will feature free pizza and Red Bull, cash prizes, product giveaways from leading skateboard brands, a Game of S.K.A.T.E competition, the DGK Rail Jam, free ramp skating, and giveaways for participating skaters.

There will also be a “30 Years & Counting” Collectors Old School Deck Exhibition, giving attendees the chance to check out a unique display of classic skate decks.

In-store, Da Klinic will be offering 20 per cent off skateboard decks all day, while the event will also mark the release of the Da Klinic 25th Anniversary Commemorative T-Shirt, with only 100 limited-edition pieces available.

Da Klinic has been part of South Australia’s skateboarding scene for 25 years, supporting generations of local skateboarders and helping grow skate culture across the state.

“This event is all about bringing the community together, celebrating skateboarding, and creating an unforgettable day for skaters of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’ve been skating for decades or you’re just getting started, everyone is welcome,” a Da Klinic spokesperson said.

Weather permitting, the celebrations will continue after the Myer Centre event with a community skate through the city to Adelaide City Skate Park.

The Go Skateboarding Day celebration will take place on Saturday 20 June from 2pm to 5pm on Level 2 of Myer Centre Adelaide, two levels above Da Klinic. Entry is free.
