Eat your way through Europe at Brighton’s Rendezvous Market

Hosted by City of Holdfast Bay and the minds behind Adelaide Central Markets Les Deux Coqs, Rendez-vous Market returns with European food, art, and music.

Brighton’s Rendezvous Market is returning in 2022 and is bringing Europe to you.

The market, which is held on the first Sunday of every other month, is returning on February 6 at Wattle Reserve Brighton.

Described as “a European Market with the French touch,” the February Rendezvous market is selling treats from all over the continent. With over 20 stalls, guests can tickle their taste buds on delightful French croissants, baguettes, and crepes, Belgium chocolate, Dutch waffles, German hot dogs, Sicilian Cannolis, Greek patisseries, and more – yum!

Rendezvous Market will also have non-food stalls, including arts and crafts, music, candles, homeware and lamps, all with an eco-conscious.

The market is a collaboration between the City of Holdfast Bay and the minds behind Adelaide Central Market’s French food stall Les Deux Coqs and the City of Holdfast Bay.

Les Deux Coqs owner Katia Vincon, heralding from France herself, thought to start the market because she missed home.

She says the inspiration from the markets comes from her love of European markets and noticing that Adelaide didn’t have anything like them, thus she decided to create one.

Located along the Esplanade in Brighton, event-goers can dine at provided seating areas, shop, and pretend they’re in Europe, all while taking in the beach views.

The Facebook event suggests punters should forget their passports and travel through Europe at the boutique market.

Rendezvous Market will have live music and in true European style is a pet-friendly venue.

Entry to the market is free and parking is available along the foreshore.

The first Rendezvous Market of 2022 will be held from 9 am-1 pm on Sunday the 6th of February at Wattle Reserve Brighton
