Calling all creative kids! The 2022 National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant Mini Float competition is back!
They’re asking all South Australian children aged between 5 to 16 to express their inner artist and design a mini float for this years pageant! The winning float will be built by the pageant elves and showcased in the 2022 National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant later this year.
Celebrating its 90th year, The Christmas Pageant has become a favourite for all South Australians young and old and an event that many look forward to each year.
To commemorate the milestone birthday, the theme for this years mini float entries is ‘Christmas Pageant’ – Celebrating 90 years of Pageant fun, colour, movement and magic’.
A team of expert judges will be making the final decision on who the best float belongs too and will making their decision based on originality, presentation, artistic and construction content as well as character and costume design.
Creations can be in any medium you wish! Drawing, painting, sculpture or any other creation you can think of! The more creative the better!
Aside from having your work of art included in the pageant, the winner will also take home $500, a unique behind the scenes tour of Stardust Castle AND a reserved space to watch the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant. Second prize will receive $250, with third prize receiving $100.
The Mini Float Competition is open to both individuals, class groups, arts students or children that love to draw and be creative.
