Comedians Against Humanity is a show for those of us who love to interact with comedians and are fans of improv comedy rather than a rehearsed script. Yianni Agisilaou is the perfect choice as host for this spectacular version of a game we have all come to love. He has you engaged from word go and is never one to shy away from political incorrectness or material of a sexual nature and either were the two guest comedians for the night ‘Garry Starr’ (Damien Warren-Smith) and James Nokise.

A series of mini games make up the show with comedians being prompted by Yianni as to the situation at hand. It is then handed over to the audience to steer the direction of the skit using the cards given to them at the beginning of the show. The result is an hour of hysterical laughing, but remember folks, the show is only as good as the audience participation so if you don’t like calling out things like “Setting my balls on fire and cartwheeling to Uluru” then you may not find it as hilarious as those who get involved. It is also worth mentioning though that the audience participation can go too far, so try not to be that person in the audience who suddenly thinks they are the only one there and starts their own personal conversations with the comedians; let other people have a turn and share the laughs around.

This show is clever, witty and fast paced with moments that will make you blush and wonder if you are somehow fast tracked to the bad place for laughing so hard. With every show being different it is easily a show you could see over and over again and one that will have you talking for days about how much fun you had. It is also an incredibly good way to check out other comedians whose shows you may not have known about.
Yianni, ‘Garry’ and James all have solo shows as well, so make sure you check them out as I am sure you won’t be disappointed.
