It is the Marion Hotel Sunday Sessions’ tenth year at the Adelaide Fringe.

The show runs for ninety minutes with a short break and features four comedians. This year, it has once again sold out for all three sessions, so if you haven’t already booked, it is a show to earmark for 2022.

Hosted by the hilarious Lindsay Webb, a leading presenter for multiple television shows, such as Australia’s Got Talent and Gruen Nation ABC, there was no break from laughter in this ninety minute segment.

The session started with comedian Peter James from Cairns, founder of Laughing Heart Comedy. His relaxed demanour was a great start to the afternoon. Next was the hilarious Shad Wicka, also from Queensland and host of the Good Yarns Podcast. The Queensland pair are currently performing together in Adelaide Fringe show, Shad And Pete Save The World.

After a short break, stand up Port Adelaide local Lori Bell, Adelaide Comedy People’s Choice multiple times’ award winner (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015) was fantastic, followed by renowned comedian Akmal coming to the stage.

The Marion Hotel Sunday Sessions are presented by Adelaide Comedy; an organisation that enables stand up comedians from abroad to connect with local comedians, and showcase their talents in South Australian venues.
