Caroline Wall is a superb artist and she is in her element when inspiring and motivating the beginning artists who thoroughly enjoyed her Paint Party last night. It’s no wonder she has three times been shortlisted for the Fringe poster. Her bold, vivid style of painting reflects her bright and funny personality.

Caroline gives minimal directions but maximum encouragement and insider tips to make everyone’s creative journey a success. All art materials were provided and despite the fact we all painted a face, you can see the great range of original art works we created last night. Kudos must go also to all the helpers who, most importantly, ensured our glasses were topped up and we had everything we needed to create a masterpiece.

We attracted some attention from passers-by who wanted to check out why we were having so much fun, which was further enhanced by the excellent wine and cheese, plus the terrific 90s music selected by Caroline. SJ Establishment is a great space for this type of event and thanks are due to them for the goody bags given out at the end of the night.

As you were warned in the Fringe Guide – last year sold out, so be quick – well, so has this year’s season and for good reason! But don’t despair as you can book your own Paint Party, with a group of friends or a family friendly event for the kids.
