If your ideal night involves a paintbrush in one hand and a prosecco in the other, Studio Vino is the place for you this Fringe season.
Adelaide’s first paint and sip experience since 2015 is back for Adelaide Fringe 2026 with a stacked program of events designed to get everyone involved. Known for turning blank canvases into masterpieces (or at least masterpieces-in-progress) with zero judgment and maximum fun, Studio Vino has built a loyal following, and this year’s lineup proves why.
After completely selling out last Fringe, the iconic ‘Dancing Queen’ Drag, Paint & Sip makes its triumphant return. Hosted by the dazzling Princess Laya, this ABBA-inspired extravaganza is pure chaos in the best possible way. There are fierce lip-sync performances, fabulous costumes, outrageous wit and plenty of audience interaction, all while you paint your very own disco-worthy artwork.
Guided by Studio Vino’s instructors and assistants, guests will create an ABBA-inspired 40x50cm canvas to take home. The $75 ticket includes a three-hour extended session, a welcome drink on arrival, all art materials, and a whole lot of sparkle.
This year’s Fringe program also features ‘RnB Paint & Sip Fridays’, where smooth beats and throwback anthems set the tone for a creative night out. There’s also ‘Shaken Not Stirred’, a James Bond-themed Drag, Paint & Sip, promising espionage elegance with a cheeky twist. And for those wanting something bold and empowering, ‘Lips & Sips: A Vulva Paint & Sip’ offers a body-positive, educational and celebratory experience that blends creativity with confidence.
Operating from two locations, Pirie Street in the CBD on February 28th and Holden Hill in Adelaide’s north-east on March 21st, both studios are fully stocked with your favourite drops, ready and waiting.
So grab your crew, pick your theme, and get ready to sip, swirl and unleash your inner Picasso. After all, Fringe is about trying something new, and this might just be your most colourful night yet.
