When Glenelg lost its much loved cinema, Adelaide mourned. People even rallied together to start a ‘Save the Glenelg Cinema’ group… It was, after all, a little slice of Jetty Road history and a place that held a lot of memories for so many people. But it couldn’t be saved. So it was welcome news when word got out about the new Ozone Cinema!
Movie buffs rejoice because the new $17m project, which includes six screens, is set to open on Thursday 24 March!
After some delay, the much awaited project is set to bring new life to the strip, with retailers and restaurant owners eagerly awaiting its grand opening!
With a new mural having been painted on the building adjacent to the cinema in Milton Street, the complex on Partridge Street is looking pretty and almost ready to go!
Movies will be back at the Bay, bigger and better than ever. The perfect date night, or family fun day out is not too far away!
