Fans of the hit television series Outlander are in for a treat, with a spectacular live concert experience heading to Adelaide in April 2027, bringing the romance, drama and unforgettable music of the Scottish Highlands to the stage.
Outlander in Concert: Echoes Through the Highlands will take over the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Friday, 16 April 2027, as part of a national tour following a 75-city run across the United States and Europe.
The immersive production will combine specially curated scenes from all eight seasons of the globally popular television series with a live performance of its acclaimed Celtic soundtrack, composed by three-time Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary.

Audiences will be transported into the world of Claire and Jamie Fraser, with cinematic footage projected onto a large HD screen while an ensemble of musicians and vocalists performs the series’ sweeping score.
Traditional Scottish instruments, including bagpipes, fiddles and the hurdy-gurdy, will bring the music to life, recreating the atmosphere that has become synonymous with the beloved series.
The concert has been developed in collaboration with Outlander showrunner and executive producer Matthew B. Roberts and composer Bear McCreary, who carefully selected music and scenes spanning the show’s entire run, including footage from its highly anticipated eighth and final season.

Since premiering in 2014, Outlander has attracted a devoted international following, with audiences captivated by the time-travelling love story of Claire Fraser, played by Caitríona Balfe, and Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan.
Based on Diana Gabaldon’s internationally bestselling novels, which have sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide, the series has become one of television’s most recognisable historical dramas.
Its music has also achieved remarkable success, with more than 500 million soundtrack streams across 236 territories. The show’s iconic theme, The Skye Boat Song, has been played more than 49 million times.
McCreary is also known for his work on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, God of War, Battlestar Galactica and The Walking Dead, with three Emmy Awards, two BAFTAs and two Grammy nominations to his name.
The Adelaide performance will be the only South Australian stop on the national tour, which will also visit Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney.
Tickets for the Adelaide show go on sale at 2pm on Monday, 2 November 2026, giving fans the chance to experience the music and memorable moments of Outlander in an entirely new way.
