SA Builder Wins Australian Display Home Of The Year

South Australia’s APS Synergy Display Home at St Clair has won 2012 HIA Australian Display Home of the Year Award at the residential building industry’s prestigious awards ceremony held at the Cairns Convention Centre.

The HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards recognise the nation’s top builders and designers and winners are selected from a list of state-based finalists, with awards in 20 separate categories.

Judged by industry professionals, the awards acknowledge the talent of builders, designers and building companies who plan and construct quality new housing, apartments, renovations, kitchens and bathrooms.

Managing Director of APS Homes, Tony Schaars says, “I’m extremely proud of all my traders and suppliers who have committed their work load to our company. The award and accolade goes out to them and our previous and existing clients.”

At St Clair, APS Homes built their stunning Synergy Home with an open plan living space,  private bedrooms, which are located well away from the key activity areas of the home to allow for quiet and privacy.

The home has three bedrooms, a secondary upstairs living area, an entertaining balcony,  theatre room, a state of the art kitchen and an indoor/outdoor living area with an outdoor kitchen and in ground swimming pool.

The Synergy by APS Home also uses a modern and environmentally sustainable features such as double glazing and cross-flow ventilation to the main living area, the use of water conservation fitting and considered design to allow lots of natural light.

APS homes offer individual custom built homes, sloping sites and renovations, and each team is hand-picked for each project, matching the skills of the individual with the unique needs of the client and their home.

The APS Synergy Home is located in the St Clair Display Village at 9 Crompton Drive St Clair and is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and weekends 2pm – 4pm.
