Where are you going for dinner? Well, we are going to Sicily.
While actually going to Sicily would be absolutely amazing, the second option is just as sweet: Sicily coming to us in the form of wood-fired pizza and delicious Sicilian food. And all we need to do is sit in the comfort of our own home. Or we can pick it up… it’s that easy.
You’ve probably seen the Sicily pizzeria on Rundle Street, Adelaide. Yes, that’s right, Sicily Pizzeria e Bar are the people behind the upcoming opening of their additional pizzeria in Everard Park Sicily Autostrada Pizzeria and it’s opening very soon.
While the Rundle Street pizzeria is dine-in and takeaway, Sicily Autostrada Pizzeria will solely be delivery and takeaway.
The additional pizzeria came about due to Owner Cono Gianni Gorgone wanting to give the people what they want… more pizza! But fast like the autostradas (aka highways) of Sicily that are well known for their pace and efficiency; this is what inspired the name.
Cono’s desire is to have their amazing array of food and delicious pizza delivered express to your door.
“We are delivering to 14 suburbs that are a five-kilometre radius from our pizzeria at Everard Park,” Cono said.
“I noticed that many people from the suburbs wanted the pizza, which is one of the reasons why I was inspired to open Sicily Autostrada Pizzeria.”
Cono Gorgone adds that the opening of their new pizzeria is very good timing.
“It will be our two-year anniversary on the 12th of May 2019 when we started the operation of Sicily Pizzeria e Bar,” Cono said.
What a great way to celebrate their anniversary, with the opening of an additional pizzeria!
Their menu will be similar to the one we know and love from Sicily Pizzeria e Bar. An array of your favourite pizzas and mouth-watering arancini are available to order, as well as homemade traditional lasagna that is cooked in their wood-fired oven. And to top it off, you can order their amazing Sicilian cannoli for dessert.
Opening hours: Monday – Thursday & Sunday, 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Friday & Saturday, 5:00pm – 11:00pm. Sicily Autostrada Pizzeria can be found at 88 Anzac Highway, Everard Park. Stay tuned for the opening!
