Brixpo LEGO® exhibition | 11-12 July

Looking for something fun and different to do with the kids these upcoming school holidays? The Brixpo LEGO® exhibition is returning to the St Clare Recreation Centre next month, this year with six huge courts of fan-built LEGO® creations, bringing bucketloads of creativity and plenty of ‘wow’ factor.
The exhibition is run by the Southern Bricks Lego User Group, made by fans, for fans, and takes place in staggered sessions over two days. The event showcases over 100 carefully crafted fan-built LEGO® creations, and offers interactive play zones where both little kids, and kids at heart, can construct their own masterpieces.

Firstival | 1 – 31 July

Firstival is back for its fourth year, with libraries across South Australia joining in the fun throughout July
Hosted by LibrariesSA, the month-long festival encourages South Aussies of all ages, to try a new hobby or skill with a jam-packed, month-long event program. Families are also sorted these July winter school holidays, with children’s activities including kids yoga, homemade book week costume workshops, cupcake and biscuit decorating workshops, silent discos and kite making workshops.
For the teens, there is intros into Dungeons and Dragons, Astrology for Beginners, Chinese dumpling folding classes and even brush pen calligraphy workshops.

Footy Park Precinct

Looking for an all-weather family day out these Winter School Holidays? Footy Park Precinct has you covered with fun for all ages across Hey Caddy, X-Golf and Mosaic Hotel.

UNPLUGGED at Woodhouse Adventure Park | 6 – 17 July

If your kids have energy to burn, Woodhouse Adventure Park’s School Holidays UNPLUGGED program might just be your school holiday saviour. Running daily for kids from Reception (must have finished one term) to Year Six, this fully facilitated outdoor experience is packed with adventure, fresh air and fun.
Each day includes time on the epic Challenge Hill obstacle course, exclusive tube slide sessions (weather permitting), and plenty of themed activities to suit all kinds of kids. Illuminate Adelaide | 1 – 19 July

Universal Kingdom Ice Age
A favourite winter event is making a grand return this July, as Illuminate Adelaide is back to light up the city from July 1st to 19th with its biggest and boldest program yet.
Now in its sixth fully curated year, the city-wide festival will transform Adelaide into an after-dark playground, packed with immersive art, cutting-edge technology, world-class music, unforgettable dining experiences, and a huge lineup of free and ticketed events.
With more than 100 experiences on offer, including 11 world premieres and 11 Adelaide exclusives, this year’s program is sure to be one of the most exciting yet.

Lights at Mawson | July 17-19

Lights at Mawson is back and it’s bigger, better and brighter than ever from July 17 to 19.
After last year’s giant light-up panda became one of the event’s most eye-catching drawcards, this year’s program is leaning even further into the spectacle, with an illuminated inflatable animal trail around the lake, silent disco, live acoustic music, light painting portraits, mini golf, LED workshops and interactive light games.

Adelaide Thunderbirds School Holiday Clinics | 7 – 16 July

The Hospital Research Foundation Group, in collaboration with the Adelaide Thunderbirds, is hosting a series of School Holiday Clinics designed for young netball enthusiasts to enhance their skills and learn from professional athletes.
These interactive sessions cater to various age groups and skill levels, focusing on key aspects of the game such as attacking, defending, shooting, ball handling, footwork, and match play. Beyond skill development, the clinics offer a fun and inclusive environment where participants can make new friends.

Bounce School Holiday Programs

If your kids love to move, flip and fly, BOUNCE is the kind of place that turns school holidays into something seriously fun. The 2-Hour Superpass is a great way to make the most of the day. For $30, they get plenty of time to explore, play and go freestyle across the trampolines, obstacle courses and everything in between. It’s active, exciting and guaranteed to wear them out, in the best way.
For kids who want to learn a bit more, the Holiday Camps are also a fantastic option. They’ll get coaching time with an experienced instructor, a break to enjoy a shared fruit platter, and then a fun hour of free time with one of the BOUNCE hosts leading the charge.
