There’s no denying that food cooked over a spit has a distinct and delicious taste — it’s something about the open fire and smokey flavour, we think.
Adrian and Joanna of G-SPIT have spent a few years getting that taste just right and refining their offerings in order to bring people Mediterranean and South American inspired meals, with everything homemade from scratch.
They have been catering functions of all sizes, letting their clients choose exactly what they want — no binding packages involved.
G-SPIT has catered birthdays, weddings, staff and sales meetings, christenings, engagements, corporate functions, bucks shows, and plenty of other events, so with all that experience behind them, they decided it was time to take their food to the masses!
Introducing Yoh Adrian Takeaway Food Truck!
Yoh Adrian serves up grilled meats in a number of forms — wrapped up in a soft pita bread yiros with salads of your choice, the iconic AB pack, in a salad bowl (for those more health-conscious), or just straight up as is.
All the meat is made extra special by G-SPIT’s homemade meat rubs and sauces that were so popular, they made them available for purchase.
And if their opening day was anything to go by, Yoh Adrian is worth lining up for — because they sold out on day one!
Carrying on the celebrations, their opening special this week is a yiros or yiros bowl for $6 (on Thursday and Friday, 21 & 22 November only).
For the time being, you’ll be able to find Yoh Adrian in the rear carpark at 50 Woodville Road, Woodville South.
The truck is open most evenings from 5pm to 8pm (or until sold out), but keep an eye out on their Facebook page to keep track of any location or opening hour updates.
