By day, Miss Perez is all coffee, breakfast and long catch-ups overlooking the leafy heart of Stirling. Come evening, the fireplaces are lit, cocktails are shaken and the menu shifts towards Atlantic salmon and porterhouse steaks.
It is a formula that appears to be hitting the mark, with the Adelaide Hills venue celebrating one of its busiest years yet with a new win at the 2026 Quality Business Awards.
Miss Perez has taken home Best Fine Dining alongside OZIN Restaurant and AURORA Restaurant. The Quality Business Awards recognise businesses that achieve an overall quality score of at least 95 per cent, with performance assessed across customer satisfaction, service, reputation and quality.
Situated among Stirling’s iconic oak trees, Miss Perez Kitchen & Bar has built its offering around contemporary Australian food with influences from Latin America and Spain, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
Manager Rhys said the recognition meant a great deal to him and the team after an especially busy year, attributing much of the venue’s success to the owners Chetan Mattu and Jimmy.
“They’ve just been great at supporting us as staff and just making the business a better place.”

Among the menu favourites, Rhys pointed to the tacos and burgers as dishes that have helped make Miss Perez a local favourite, including its weekly Taco Tuesday offering with $8 tacos. Beyond the casual staples, the venue’s award-winning fine dining offering extends to more refined dishes such as Atlantic salmon with chargrilled broccolini and red wine-braised beef cheek ragu.
But he said the venue’s appeal goes beyond what comes out of the kitchen.
One of the biggest reasons the venue continues to resonate with customers is the efforts of the team behind it.
“We’re all just so friendly and accommodating. We really try to match whatever the customer needs.”
“And even just the location. It’s such a beautiful place, right in the centre of Stirling.”
With warmer weather arriving, Miss Perez is now preparing to evolve again.
The kitchen team is working on a new summer menu, with changes expected across its mains, burgers and breakfasts, as well as introducing lighter options.
“We’re just looking at changing up the whole new menu now we’re coming into the 30-degree days,” Rhys said.
“We’ve got lots of great chefs in the kitchen that have come from different experience and we all just get together and basically communicate the best way we can display things.”
With floor-to-ceiling windows looking across Stirling’s oak trees, an outdoor deck beneath the canopy and everything from breakfast and coffee to tacos and burgers, Miss Perez has become the kind of venue that can look quite different from one visit to the next.
And after one of its busiest years yet, its latest accolade is giving the team another reason to celebrate.
