Street Art Festival Wonderwalls Returns To Port Adelaide

If you’re looking for something to do this Long Weekend, head to Port Adelaide and check out the incredible large scale artwork which is being painted for this year’s Wonderwalls street art festival.

If you’ve ever driven through Port Adelaide, you’ll be familiar with some of the incredible street art, which covers entire walls of buildings, both old and new. It exists, in large, thanks to local and international artists who flock to the Port each year for the Wonderwalls street art festival. Each artist is given a wall, where they contribute to the collection of incredible large scale pieces, which make up the colourful, visual spectacular on offer.

This year will roll on from the success of Wonderwalls Port Adelaide 2019, with the main event running over the weekend of the 6-8 of March. Some artists will still be painting in the following days though, depending on how much work is needed to be put into their pieces.

This year’s line up includes internationally acclaimed artists from around the globe such as the Graffiti renaissance duo Pichiavo from Spain, surreal genius Vesod from Italy, digital Demsky from Spain and the political activist Scott Marsh from Sydney.

Alongside the world famous group is the incredible local talent of Jasmine Crisp, Kerri Ann Wright, Shane Cook, Kurt Bosecke, Julia Townsend, Matthew Kelly, Rachel Darling and Mandi Glynn-Jones all painting live on the walls of Port Adelaide within the CBD.

For a taste of what you can expect, here are some great photos thanks to the City of Port Adelaide Enfield.
