Yep, Mad March is coming to a close, but not without some final fanfare.
There’s a stack of great events on this week, but here’s our favourites.
Friday, March 31 – Spanish Last Friday Lunch at The Pot
The Last Friday lunch theme for March is one of The Pot’s most popular: SPANISH. Enjoy 4 courses with matching wines, $95pp. Or BYO and compare yours with Murph’s matches. Book in a table and come hungry! Menu includes Tortilla Espanola. Jamon, smoked clams, spring onion; Roasted chorizo, beans, tomato, zucchini, capsicum, fried egg; Paella. Saffron rice, prawns, sausage, pork, mussels; and Burnt orange & almond flan, caramel.
Friday, March 31 – BRKLYN’s 1st Birthday Bash
This sounds like the kind of (fricken’ awesome) party your parents warned you about. There will be tattoo giveaways and live tattooing on the night, free cuts at Crooked Cutting Studio, prohibition era cocktails, funky jazz music and more! All in the name of celebrating BRKLYN‘s 1st birthday.
Saturday, April 1 – East End Wine Down
Not long now until the infamous East End Wine Down returns to Vardon Avenue! This Saturday from 12-5pm, grab your food, wine, gin and beer loving friends and hit the best street party in town! Tickets sell out every year so don’t leave it to the last minute!
Saturday, April 1 – Houndwave. Can we get a bow wow for the genius that came up with this?! Houndwave is Adelaide’s pooch-friendly music festival with markets and doggies galore. The free community event will take over Light Square with a great live music live up. Bring along your furry mates for a good time. No cats allowed.
Sunday, April 2 – Gin and Cheese Afternoon
There’s no better combo! Enjoy an afternoon tasting a range of Settlers Gin along with Cheesaholic’s cheeses from across the globe. Maximus Wines Cellar Door will be absolutely delicious. Secure your $80 ticket by emailing Settlers Spirits.
Sunday, April 2 – Masterclass | Cigar Appreciation Night
Ahoy there! Come aboard Hains & Co for the ultimate cigar masterclass. Broaden your knowledge and show your love for cigars. There’s also a couple of media events we want to mention too – you aren’t invited (sorry) but you can get excited nonetheless!
