Following a successful debut that attracted 10,000 festivalgoers earlier this year, the all-ages music festival will return to Civic Park in Modbury on Saturday, February 27th, bringing some of Australia’s biggest names to the northern suburbs.

The newly announced 10-act lineup includes pop duo The Veronicas, electronic favourites Peking Duk, singer-songwriter Xavier Rudd and pop star Ruel.

They’ll be joined by Australian rock favourites Thirsty Merc, First Nations artists J-MILLA and YUNG MILLA, emerging Adelaide boy band PASH, Jeane and Zara Chantelle, offering a mix of pop, rock, electronic music and homegrown talent.

“We’re so excited to be bringing the show back to Adelaide and to be part of A Day In The Gully. It’s going to be an incredible day and we can’t wait to see everyone there!” shared Jess from The Veronicas.

The Veronicas

The festival made its debut in 2026 as the first large-scale music festival of its kind in Adelaide’s north east, attracting thousands to Civic Park and demonstrating an appetite for major live music events outside the CBD.

With Adelaide’s busiest festival season traditionally concentrated around the city centre, A Day in the Gully is bringing another major event to the suburbs, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy a full-scale music festival closer to home.

The event is delivered by SRO Events. CEO Danielle Jones said, “We are so grateful for the community’s response to our debut, and we are excited to be bringing more live music to the Adelaide audiences in 2027, with a lineup that deliberately spans across ages and genres – it’s a day out for everyone.”

For residents of the City of Tea Tree Gully, there’s an added incentive to get in early.

An exclusive locals-only presale opens at 8am on Thursday, October 22nd, with tickets available for $80 plus booking fee, meaning there’s a $55 discount.

First-release general admission tickets will then go on sale to the wider public at 8am on Monday, October 26th.

City of Tea Tree Gully Mayor Marijka Ryan said, “I can’t wait to see Civic Park come alive again with another amazing day of live music.”

“Residents turned out in droves for last year’s highly successful inaugural event and we’re pleased they will again have access to discounted early-release tickets.”
