Vale Ale wins 2 Silver Medals at the Sydney Royal Beer Competition

BeerVale Ale, the premium pale ale brought to you by the artisans at McLaren Vale Beer Company and The Salopian Inn, has collected 2 Silver Medals in the pale ale class at the 2010 Sydney Royal Beer Competition leading the way for the South Australian entrants.

The results of the Sydney Royal Beer Competition were released last night.

Founder Adam Trippe-Smith was thrilled to receive the news.

“Following the re-launch of The Salopian Inn and with our plans for our new brewery this year, we are now more excited then ever to grow the Vale Ale story”.

McLaren Vale Beer Company and Vale Ale were launched in May 2008. South Australian icon The Salopian Inn was acquired by McLaren Vale Beer Company and re-launched in December 2009.

These awards build on the medals won last year at the Australian International Beer Awards and the International Beer Challenge in London.

“We have our end-of-summer team dinner tonight so there will be some extra celebrations and maybe a little extra Vale Ale consumed.”
