YVariety aims for a ‘White-out’ and $10,000 for Variety SA

Variety Club0228On Saturday 3rd August the Published Arthouse will transform into a sea of white when Young Variety South Australia host the inaugural White Party.

Over 220 guests will enjoy a night of live entertainment, art, music, a delicious and eclectic array of street food and some of South Australia’s best beverages inside one of Adelaide’s most unique and funkiest venues. The warehouse venue that has been chosen is filled with street art and an exciting lighting installation.

“The volunteer committee have spent the last couple of months organising a distinctive event that will raise funds for children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs in South Australia. And in response to the intense colour inside the venue we have asked guests to only wear white clothing” said YVariety Fundraising Committee Chair Ben Younger.

“Due to the generosity of our sponsors the majority of the ticket price proceeds will go direct to Variety SA, with our aim being to raise at least $10 000, and we hope to raise even more funds when we auction five special pieces of donated art on the night. One piece of street art will actually be completed during the evening in front of the guests.”

Entertainment on the night will include three prominent DJs – Filip with an F, Borna and Luke and a local hip hop crew. Tickets are available to purchase online and are selling fast.
