Put travel to Kangaroo Island higher up on your list as another ferry service has resumed.
The Kangaroo Island Connect ferry is set to restart ferries from September 26.
With ferry prices starting at $25 for one way trips, KIC is a fantastic budget option for travellers.
The price doesn’t skimp on quality, with KIC sporting fast and modern ferries.
The route will take you from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw and back, with options for long term car parking.
The Kangaroo Island Connect ferry does not transport cars but they offer car, mini-van, and campervan hire.
Alternatively, there are a range of options to travelling around KI without a car, from car rentals to 24/7 bus charters. Check out our guide to travelling around KI without a car.
The recently launched Kic Club pass creates new benefits for people spending more time in the Fleurieu as part of a trip to KI.
If you make use of the offers available through the Kic Club pass, the Kangaroo Island ferry ticket is effectively free.
The pass allow passengers to enjoy discounts on services from nearly 100 local businesses, up to five days after travelling on their ferry, both on the Island and on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Experience some of KI and Fleurieu’s best cellar doors, restaurants, wildlife, and beaches with KIC Club passes.
