30 Of The Best Food Trucks Gather For Summer Foodie Fest

If you’ve never heard of Fork on the Road, it’s a celebration of all the wonderful food trucks that pop up around Adelaide at random times throughout the week—except all gathered together in one convenient place, so you can taste foodie delights from each and every one of them!

It only happens once a month though, and this month, Fork finds a home at Kings Reserve in the City of West Torrens this Saturday, 9 February, from 5pm to 10pm.

Aptly named, Take a Fork on the Westside will feature 30 of the best food trucks in Adelaide, including Taste of Spain, Honey Puff Lads, the Old School Bus, Van Dough, Feisty Filomena, and Flatiron Foodtruck just to name a few!

There will also be plenty of craft beer to go around from local producers Big Shed, The Wheaty Brewing Corp, Swell Brewing, and Left Barrel, along with the Fork bar, featuring local South Australian ciders, wine, gin, and cocktails.

This food truck fest also has plenty of ways to keep the kids occupied, so you can feast on the best of the best without needing to share. We’re sure the kids won’t feel too bad, since there will be a giant 70ft obstacle course and wet slide and junkyard play with Climbing Tree to keep them busy! Evelyn Roth’s Nylon Zoo will also entertain with their interactive storytelling, everyone can learn circus skills with PLAI, and budding junior archeologists can help unearth a dinosaur with Dig-a-dino.

Now we’re envious of the kids activities…

Take a Fork on the Westside also features a stellar line-up of live Adelaide musicians performing between 5pm – 10pm, including Lazy Eye, Ollie English, The Heggarties, AP D’Antonio, and Exeter Blues.
