A Boho Picnic Is Coming To The Barossa & This Is What Summer Was Made For

Ever dreamed of picnic-ing in the Barossa under a chic ivory canvas tent filled with patterned rugs and low picnic tables laden with a grazing platter? Now you can.

We believe summer was made for one thing and one thing only — sipping chilled cocktails beneath a baby blue sky painted with long, wispy white clouds.

And what better way to do that than in one of our favourite regions, sitting pretty under a chic ivory canvas tent filled with patterned rugs and low picnic tables featuring effervescent gin cocktails.

If the sound of that set up has you reaching for your strappy sandals, floppy straw hat, and wine cooler, then have we got news for you!

Our faves at Barossa Distilling Co. are hosting two Boho Picnics filled with all of the above and more. With an arvo or evening session, you can choose to lounge in a rustic, boho-styled wonderland beneath the Barossa sunshine or the twinkle of fairy lights at dusk.

You can absolutely expect all things gin, cocktails, and wine, as well as delicious platters, courtesy of Pressed Pantry, or wood-fired pizzas for you to enjoy.

Choose from a private VIP Bell Tent (suitable for 10-15 friends), a VIP Area, or the RSVP Area — depending on the desires of your heart (and, perhaps, how many friends you have).

The VIP Area includes table service for food and drinks, so you can kick back and relax. You’ll also nab yourself a complimentary drink — a bottle of bubbles and cocktail jug if you’re in a Bell Tent, or a G&T or wine if you’re in the VIP Area.

And if you’re a VIP or VIP Bell Tent guest, you’ll receive a lovely 10% off all drinks for the evening.

For more info on what each area offers, head on over to the Eventbrite page.

No matter where you end up, this picnic is all things magical, floaty, dreamy, romantic, enchanting, and one of its kind in the Barossa.

Evening picnics take place on February 7, 6 to 10PM and the afternoon picnic is on February 8, 12 to 5PM.
