Adelaide modelling agency celebrates 19-year-old’s Victoria’s Secret debut

At just 19 years old, South Sudanese Australian model Ayen Gany has made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut, bringing a childhood dream to life.

At just 19 years old, South Sudanese Australian model Ayen Agany has walked one of the world’s most famous runways, making her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut alongside some of the biggest names in fashion.

And behind the international milestone is a special Adelaide connection, with Ayen represented by Pride Models, the Adelaide and Melbourne-based agency that has helped guide her career since she was a teenager.

Ayen made her debut at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on 18 October, joining a star-studded line-up of international models including Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.

For Ayen, it was much more than another runway appearance. It was a childhood ambition finally coming to life.

Following the show, Ayen took to Instagram to reflect on telling her mother agent, Christabel Dundon, that Victoria’s Secret was the one runway she had always wanted to walk.

Now, years later, she has done exactly that.

Ayen appeared in two runway looks, stepping out in the show’s romantic Spring collection before returning for the Autumn collection, featuring darker tones, delicate lace and textured designs.

While millions see the glamour of the runway, behind the scenes has been years of dedication, international opportunities and hard work.

Starting her modelling journey as a teenager, Ayen has already built an impressive international portfolio, working with major names across the fashion and beauty industries, including Vogue, Fenty Beauty, Rhode and Makeup by Mario.

Alongside Pride Models, she is represented internationally by The Industry in New York and Los Angeles, establishing herself in one of the world’s most competitive industries.

For Pride Models director Christabel Dundon, watching Ayen take to the Victoria’s Secret runway was a particularly proud moment.

Christabel first met Ayen when she was just 15 and immediately recognised her potential.

She said Ayen had worked harder than most people would ever realise, making the milestone all the more rewarding for those who had supported her along the way.

And while Ayen’s career is taking her to some of the world’s biggest fashion capitals, her success is also a proud moment for the Adelaide-based agency helping Australian talent make its mark internationally.

With campaigns for major beauty brands, international modelling representation and now a Victoria’s Secret debut under her belt, Ayen’s career is continuing to soar.

But of all the milestones she’s achieved, this one is particularly special. The runway she once dreamed of walking as a teenager is now part of her story.
