Argo on the Parade unveils new murals to help charity

The hugely popular cafe is hosting an event where for a donation of any amount, you can be one of the first to receive a professional photo in front of the artwork of your choosing.

Argo on the Parade now has beautiful new murals that are going to raise funds for beautiful causes.

The hugely popular cafe is hosting an event (which you can book here!) where for a donation of any amount, you can be one of the first to receive a professional photo in front of the artwork of your choosing.

There are four adjacent murals, and each donating customer can choose a time slot that dictates which mural they’d like to post in front of and which charity their money will go to.

“Snaps for a Cause!” event will take place on June 5. See the time slots and charities below.

9:00am – 9:45am – Neighbourhood by Elle Dawson-Scott
The Smith Family – The Smith Family is an independent children’s charity helping disadvantaged Australian children to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves.

10:00am – 10:45am – She Raises Her by Sair Bean
Zahra Foundation – A South Australian based charity supporting women and children affected by domestic and family violence. They specifically address the financial abuse and disadvantage women experience as a result of domestic violence.

11:00am – 11:45am – The Coffee Shop by Jade Harland & Tiffany Rysdale
Animal Welfare League SA – Animal Welfare League brings together lost and abandoned pets and caring humans to create happy homes where everyone feels loved. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their human family, provide temporary shelter through a foster care program and support thousands of responsible owners by boarding their pets.

12:00pm – 12:45pm – Mother Nature
Safe Pets, Safe Families – Research shows that victims of domestic violence are more likely to delay leaving an abusive relationship if they own a pet. Recognising the lack of pet-friendly refuge facilities for these victims, Safe Pets Safe Families was born. Working with registered foster carers and boarding services, they ensure pets stay safe, and at the same time, allow owners to get back on their feet before finally being reunited permanently with their beloved pets.
