A tray of cupcakes could help make a child’s wish come true this August, as Kitchen Warehouse launches a nationwide collaboration with Make-A-Wish Australia.
Bake A Wish 2026 will bring Australians together through the simple joy of baking while raising money to help grant wishes for children living with a life-threatening illness or medical condition.
Kitchen Warehouse stores across Australia will officially launch the campaign with in-store bake stalls on Saturday, August 1.
Selected community events will also be held throughout the month, including cupcake-decorating experiences led by campaign ambassador and self-taught cake decorator Tigga Mac.
The Melbourne-based baker, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in April last year, said the campaign was close to her heart.
“I know how much different moments of joy can bring to someone, especially children, undergoing what is a very difficult time,” she said.
“My cakes are designed to do just that – colourful, fun, crazy and delicious creations that bring a little sweetness and joy into life, and I am so proud to be able to support Make-A-Wish.”

Kitchen Warehouse CEO Peter Macaulay said the campaign was an opportunity for communities across Australia to come together while supporting children and their families.
“Bake A Wish is about bringing communities together through the simple joy of baking, while helping create life-changing moments for children and families when they need it most,” he said.
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Australia and grateful to everyone who gets behind the campaign throughout August.”
Funds raised throughout the month will support Make-A-Wish Australia’s work granting wishes for critically ill children across the country.
Australians can support Bake A Wish throughout August by purchasing a $10 Bake A Wish Bake Sale Kit from Kitchen Warehouse, with 100 per cent of the proceeds donated to Make-A-Wish Australia. Each kit includes ten cupcake boxes featuring QR codes for additional donations.
Customers can also add a $2 donation to their purchase at Kitchen Warehouse stores or online throughout August.
