If you’re one of the clever people who planned ahead, and booked accommodation in the Barossa for the Easter Long Weekend, I’m officially jealous. I feel like every time there’s something great happening in the regions, everyone else books ahead and I’m stuck at home wishing I was a little more organised.

To kick the long weekend off, Ember Pizza in Nuriootpa Barossa are planning an event that just screams “I’m on HOLIDAYS”.
They are hosting a “Heaps Good Friday” event at Ember along with the Barossa Distilling Company next door.
If you haven’t visited their little group of businesses before – it’s pretty damn cool. Located at the old Penfolds Barossa Brandy Production site, the buildings are steeped in history, but with sexy modern touches which welcome you in.
Ember will be open for their usual lunch service at 12pm and then from 3pm the event will start.
Tumbling from the historic buildings, out on to the lawns and firepits, the festival-style picnic event will be accompanied by some great live music, with activities to keep the kids quiet, I mean entertained…
Live entertainment is happening from 3pm-10pm and kids activities are from 3pm-6pm!
There will be plenty of tables and room on the lawn for all your friends & family but booking is essential for this event!
Ember will be serving up their famous sourdough pizzas and fish and chips, and plenty of cocktails, beer, wines & of course, gin.
