We are very lucky to able to enjoy this wonderful visual delight as this world-renowned exhibition comes to Adelaide.

The best of the best are showcased in this incredibly immersive experience that will transport the viewer to these breathtaking locations.

On loan from the Natural History Museum in London, the exhibition will open at Adelaide Botanic Garden on 14 April. The viewing will feature exceptional images which capture fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular flora and landscape images, and compelling photojournalism.

The exhibition entices Adelaide with a new opportunity to explore the breathtaking diversity of the natural world.

Through the medium of photography these visual artists show the emotive power of these images to inspire and capture audiences attention.

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, providing a global platform for these wonderful images.

The winning images, including the prestigious Grand Title Award winners, were announced on 12
October 2021 during an online Awards show. We will get the pleasure of seeing the All-Stars from the competition.

Dr Doug Gurr, Director of the Natural History Museum says these extraordinary images showcase the
rich diversity of life on Earth and spark curiosity and wonder.

“Telling the story of a planet under pressure, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition
illuminates the urgent challenges we face and the collective action we need to take,” Dr Gurr says.

Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium Director, Michael Harvey, says he was delighted to partner
with the Natural History Museum in London to host the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition in
Adelaide.

“This is an exhibition I love, and I can’t wait for the people of South Australia to see this year’s
collection of the most stunning natural imagery, captured by some of the world’s most talented
