Cannoli lovers, rejoice! The brains behind Adelaide’s favourite Italian-dessert café, The Cannoli Box Co, have just launched their very own cannoli cart, bringing the sweetest of treats to SA events, markets and pop-up stalls.
There’s nothing better than indulging in Italian pastries oozing with creamy fillings, and now in an exciting Adelaide first, you can enjoy cannoli galore at weddings, birthdays and other events, with the cart available to hire for your special day.
While you can enjoy these golden-coloured treats at The Cannoli Box HQ store, cannoli gurus and co-owners John-Paul Romeo and Liana Baldasso are ready to take their company to the next level with this delightful, dessert-filled venture.
Travelling to your location of choice, the team at The Cannoli Box Co will deliver the most authentic experience at your function, expertly piping fresh cannoli for guests to enjoy on the day.
With an abundance of flavours to pick from, you can expect to see fan-favourite flavours of Nutella and Ferrero Rocher, as well as the traditional combinations of vanilla and chocolate plus ricotta and pistachio.
What started as a humble side-gig for cannoli-lovers and partners, Romeo and Baldasso, The Cannoli Box Co has gone from strength to strength since opening, with the duo closing their flagship store and relocating their delicious, sugary treats to Churchill Road.
“We started selling traditional flavour cannoli out of our parent’s fruit and veg shop in Port Wakefield, and that took off, so we decided to expand it,” says Romeo.
“Now that we’ve had time to build up the Prospect store we thought we’d get out our name there more and start heading to events.”
If cannoli carts aren’t your style, The Cannoli Box Co also create mouth-watering grazing tables, filled with your favourite sweets treats, and of course, their famous cannoli, as well as intimate dessert boxes.
