If you love boba as much as we do, you’ll need a designated stop on just about every block. Luckily for us, a Malvern favourite has opened a Waymouth Street location.

Chico Tea Boba Project is now officially open in the CBD.

Established in 2019 by David Lim, Chico Tea has made a name for itself in their popular Malvern location. With signature selections like Choco Magma Lava, Creme Brulee, and iced coffee bubble tea, the shop is known for decadent and sweet flavours. They also offer classic taro and milk teas, fruity concoctions, and various matcha mixes.

The boba shop shares a storefront with Bakmi Lim Noodle Project, so you can get delicious bao buns, rice, and noodles as well.

“Growing up in China, Milk Tea has a very special place in my heart, and it has always been a passion of mine to open up my own Bubble Tea shop,” says Lim.

“Fast forward to today, I’m extremely proud to present Chico Tea Boba Project – a project where I aim to spread joy and happiness in a cup.”

The Waymouth Street location is now open.

Find the new location on 4/8 Waymouth Street, Adelaide.
