The craze has really started to take off in recent years, with many people finding the activity to be not just exhilarating, but an incredible way to destress and have fun.
Well, we are happy to let you know that there’s an axe throwing business that those on the Fleurieu Peninsula can now enjoy.
Since 2020, Chop It has been providing the locals of Victor Habor with a fun escape from everyday life. A place where they can come to socialise and have fun all while throwing some axes.
Chop it has three different styles of alleys, all with wooden targets at the end. They offer some single lanes for people to hone their skills and some double lanes for tournaments and fun side-by-side interaction. They also host birthday parties, team building, relationship building and bachelor/bachelorette parties.
Kids don’t even need to miss out on all the fun! They have a kids lane with rubber axes that stick to the wall.
Prices start at $35 for a one hour session, and you can book in up to two hour blocks.
Drinks are available from the bar, and you can relax between rounds on the ample amounts of rustic available.
One thing Chop It really wants to highlight is that they cater for many different social groups; the main thing we want to provide is community. ‘The Clan’ is where you can see Chop It having the biggest impact, with weekly gatherings and tournaments.
Chop It will be holding space for a men’s mental health group once a month. No axe throwing necessary, just come and talk if you want to.
