We’ve found another Prospect Road restaurant that looks as though it will continue the strip’s reputation for quality food.
Delhi Club Adelaide opened in December of last year, and is serving authentic Indian, North Indian and Indo-Chinese Cuisine.
Owner Narinder Paul runs two takeaway Indian stores in the Northern Suburbs called Get Curried.
They are extremely busy so he decided to open a sit down restaurant he described Delhi Club as “fine dining with low prices”.
In a Facebook post, Mayor David O’Loughlin praised the food, the service and touch of Bollywood, and thanked the restaurant for choosing Prospect Road as their location.
Indo-Chinese cuisine is a mixture of Indian and Chinese flavours and is thought to have originated when Chinese immigrants came to Kolkatta 250 years ago and opened up restaurants combining the best of Chinese and Indian Flavours.
Menu items include garlic chilli fish with battered pieces of fish coated in a hot and spicy sauce, a selection of goat curries, and classics such as Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala.
The Delhi Club is open seven days a week from 11am – 2:30pm and 4:30pm – 11:30pm.
You can find Delhi Club at 93 Prospect Road.
