Want to attend an exclusive sweet 16th birthday for one of Australia’s only Giant Pandas?
Deliveroo and Adelaide Zoo are giving locals the opportunity to celebrate the birthdays of South Australia’s most famous residents, and the only Giant Pandas in Australia, Wang Wang, who is 15, and Fu Ni who is 14.
Hundreds of guests, celebrities and local dignitaries will be in attendance to mark the birthdays on the evening of Thursday 26 August, which includes a super sweet 16th birthday for Wang Wang. For locals wanting to attend Adelaide’s biggest ever birthday party extravaganza, there’s only one way to get access to the after-hours event.
Deliveroo customers simply need to spend $20 or more from a participating restaurant and they will receive a free fortune cookie. Over 1200 of these cookies circulating the eateries of Adelaide contain a prize including Deliveroo credit, free passes to Adelaide Zoo and the ultimate golden ticket: an invite to the panda extravaganza of the year.
The special events will be held on Thursday 26 August in the Zoo’s Bamboo Forest, where guests will enjoy a menu of dishes inspired by the diversity of cuisines available in Adelaide, while watching the Giant Pandas celebrate their birthday with gifts and cake.
Participating restaurants include Café De Vili’s Mile End, Dumpling King Adelaide, Lukoumades, Mawson Lakes Chicken & Seafood, Nordburger and Nugg Lyf, amongst others, ensuring whatever cuisine you feel in the mood for, you have a chance of winning this once-in-a-lifetime prize.
