“Come for dinner, stay to meditate” is the motto of new venue Spirit Bliss.
The Magill studio is a meditation centre, dessert bar, and restaurant all in one with the goal of helping guests “release stress, create balance, connect with yourself, and find purpose.”
The most popular package on offer includes a 30-minute meditation alongside a healthy dinner, drinks, and dessert.
The healthy dinner menu includes three vegan, gluten-free curries to choose from. One is coconut, seasonal greens, seared potato, and chickpea curry; Another option is roasted tomato, lentil and seasonal vegetable curry; The last is a creamy coconut, sweet potato, broccoli and pine nut curry. They’re all served with rice and garden salad on the side, and chilli mix and pickles are available.
For dessert, guests can choose from a fruity salad with lemon lime sorbet; cinnamon, nutmeg, apple and pear bake with vegan chocolate hazelnut ice cream; and fudge vegan cake with vegan mango ice cream. To wash it all down, Spirit Bliss offers cocktails, juices, and herbal teas, which all have unlimited refills.
The new venue’s goal is to provide sustainable, quality meals and an experience of connection.
“Our food options are not fancy. They are healthy, wholesome home style choices, served simply and in adequate portion sizes so as not to way over eat or waste food,” they say.
“If on any given day you are feeling extra hungry, please feel free to ask for more. There will be absolutely no additional cost for extra servings.”
Following the restriction-friendly meals comes the meditation, which is 30 minutes of guided relaxation.
