Seppeltsfield
Description

With a proud and priceless legacy dating back to 1851, Seppeltsfield is Australia’s iconic wine estate.

Full Description

Seppeltsfield was established in the Barossa Valley by Joseph & Johanna Seppelt just 15 years after the European settlement of South Australia. Steeped in rich Barossan heritage, the estate is considered a true national treasure which helped shape the history of the Australian wine industry.

The Seppeltsfield property encompasses over 420 acres of ancient vineyard, gardens and heritage-listed architecture. A vibrant Barossa community of wine, food & art awaits visitors, highlighted by a multi-award winning Cellar Door, FINO Restaurant and JamFactory Contemporary Art & Design studios.

The Seppeltsfield Cellar Door is located in the redeveloped 1900 Seppelt Bottling Hall, showcasing a world-class blend of historical and contemporary architecture.

The Cellar Door allows for an intimate wine tasting experience, through four separate circular alcoves known as ‘pods’. Here, our passionate hosts will guide you through a wine tasting menu, whilst also assisting you with local recommendations on how to enjoy your Barossa visit.
